Dr. Sham Sunder is a famous name in the field of Nephrology. He is a DM in Nephrology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He has done his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, MD in General Medicine from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and DM in Nephrology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in medical textbooks. He has a vast teaching experience of more than 20 years for postgraduate students and 12 years of experience in post-doctoral teaching. At present Working as Chairman - of the Department of Nephrology & Renal Transplant Medicine, Primus Superspeciality Hospital, Chankyapuri New Delhi. Previously Head of Nephrology Unit at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center (New Delhi)and Ex- Consultant & HOD- Dept of Nephrology PGIMER & Dr.RML Hospital, New Delhi. I have a D.M.(Nephrology) and 26 Years of Experience as a nephrologist and Transplant Physician. Recently superannuated as HOD of Nephrology from Dr. R.M.L Hospital & PGIMER in July 2014 and here I got the opportunity to develop a full-fledged state-of-the-art nephrology Department from inception including state-of-the-art hemodialysis unit I, I Peritoneal I dialysis center I and I Renal I Transplant I Unit I (I Nephrology) course was started for the Five years before my superannuation.
