Although the characters and storyline are entirely fictional, the film is set against the authentic historical backdrop of 18th-century Bundelkhand in northern India. The narrative takes place in the late 1700s, around 25 years after the historic Battle of Buxar, during a period of political upheaval and social unrest. As the Mughal Empire declined, the British East India Company expanded its influence, while regional rulers struggled for power amid widespread lawlessness. Against this turbulent setting, the film follows a fearless Naga Sadhu on a fictional journey of justice and vengeance against a ruthless warlord, blending historical atmosphere with an original, action-driven narrative.
