My journey into health, fitness, and longevity didn’t start in a gym — it started in a place of struggle. I had a difficult beginning to life. I was expelled from school with no qualifications, got caught up in petty crime, and by 17 I’d joined the army hoping for a fresh start.Instead, I was dishonourably discharged after being found with drugs on camp.For years, I felt lost. I was addicted to cannabis and cocaine, stuck in a cycle I couldn’t seem to break, and unsure how to change direction.Everything shifted the day I joined an American football team — The Coventry Jets. The sport gave me structure, purpose, and a reason to show up for myself. At the same time, I started my first long‑term job working in a warehouse.
