Raghav Chadha, a Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party, raised a significant issue in the Rajya Sabha regarding prepaid telecom plans, sparking nationwide debate. He pointed out that India has around 1.25 billion mobile users, of which nearly 90% rely on prepaid services. Speaking on their behalf, he highlighted two major concerns. First, when a user’s recharge expires, not only outgoing calls but even incoming calls are discontinued, causing inconvenience to millions of users across the country.
